july 2011 - premier soccer tournament
In July 2011 , BC TIGERS showcased the most anticipated annual soccer tournament "MIRI PIRI SOCCER TOURNAMENT". With grand fan fare local businesses and the community supported the tournament staging best of summer soccer event. see link
MAY 2011 - SUMMER SOCCER PROGRAM
This summer BC Tigers entered 87 teams in summer soccer program. The Club is experiencing strong growth and exceptional talent development. As many as 11 teams are playing age up backed by High Performace Academy.
MARCH 2011 - HOOP DREAMS BASKETBALL PROGRAM
In March 2011, the Club launched its Basketball Program under HOOP DREAMS.
Under the guidance of NCCP certified instructors Calvin Harrington BC Tigers is proud to expand their basketball program to all members of society.
OCTOBER 2010 - WINTER BABY TIGERS INDOOR PROGRAM
In October 2010, the Club launched its Baby Tigers (2006 & 2005) Boys and Girls "Just for Kicks" indoor program.
Every Friday night Preschool kids crawl, roll and goal with a soccer ball inside a school gym.
The program runs from October 2010 to February 2011.
JUNE 2010 - BABY TIGERS SUMMER CAMP
In June 2010, the Club launched a FREE KICKIN' WITH TIGERS CAMP for childrens from 3 to 5 years of age. This fun filled 6 week camp was held at Bear Creek park for kids of all abilities to roll,crawl and goal with a soccer ball. All Baby Tigers recieved gifts and treats from TIM HORTONS at the camp wind-up.
MAY 2010 - 52 TEAMS TO SUMMER USSL
In May 2010, the club entered 52 Teams in to United Summer Surrey League. Our Club Teams demonstrated exceptional results in the opening week with 28 WINS, 5 TIES, 11 LOSSES, 8 DNP.
APRIL 2010 - TIGERS SKILLS DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY
In April 2010, the Club partnered with Ajit Braich and launched its BC Tigers Academy. The focus will be to develop fundamental soccer skills both in Coaches and Players. Ajit brings over 25 years of professional soccer experience to BC Tigers Academy. He is a B.C.Soccer Coaching instructor, and holds a Canada Soccer Association National "A" License.
OCTOBER 2009 - WINTER MINI SOCCER INDOOR PROGRAM
In October 2009, the club started a mini indoor winter league for kids and teams that did not register with Winter Soccer Clubs. BC TIGERS WINTER LEAGUE provides platform for kids and teams stay active and soccer fit till summer.
SEPTEMBER 2009 - CLUB NAME CHANGE
In September 2009, the Coaches voted to rename the club to BC TIGERS SPORTS CLUB.
The name was registered under Society's Act as non-profit organization. A new logo, website and operating guideline was accepted.
APRIL 2009 - 50 TEAMS TO USSL SUMMER LEAGUE
In April 2009, the Club registered 50 teams with USSL League . This summer BC Tigers Sports Club was the largest summer soccer club participating in USSL League in Lower Mainland.
MARCH 2009 - 9TH ANNUAL INDOOR SOCCER TOURNAMENT
In March , 2009 the club hosted their 9th Annual Indoor Soccer Tournament over 4 weekends at Khalsa School Gym. Kids from 5 years of age to over 40 participated showcasing their talents and having fun. Over 80 GAMES were played with T shirts awarded to all participants and Trophies for winers and runner-up. The Club is grateful to all tournament sponsors and participating clubs for making this event a success.
